Move Better. Live More.

Chiropractic care on Macquarie Street, Sydney. Your care is planned around you: what hurts, and what the pain is keeping you from doing.

We find the cause before we treat it.

What your first appointment looks like, in the order it happens. Nothing about your care gets decided until you understand why.

  1. We listen first

When it started, what makes it better or worse, and how it is affecting your day. What you tell us is usually what points to the answer.

  2. We check how you move

A hands-on examination with tests on the nerves, muscles and joints your symptoms point to, alongside state-of-the-art scanning technology and any relevant X-rays, when clinically indicated.

  3. We explain what we found

Dr Laith walks you through your personal findings: what is going on in your case, and what he recommends, so you can make your most informed decision.

  4. You leave with the plan

You go home with a plan built for your case: what we will do, what you will do between visits, and what to expect as it starts working.

No referral needed. You book in with the clinic directly.

Take the first step

Four ways we help you move better.

The four things people most often come to us with in Sydney: disc and nerve pain, posture, everyday stiffness, and the headaches that start in the neck.

A lumbar spine teaching model, one disc moulded in orange pushing past the rim toward a nerve root.

Disc and nerve rehabilitation

When a disc or a nerve is behind the pain and it has become significant, the care has to be specialised for that. What we work towards is less pain, easier movement, and an ordinary day back.

Common reasons people come in

  • Bulging and herniated discs
  • Sciatica and radiculopathy
  • Tingling or numbness in a limb
  • Arthritis in the spine

Posture and structural correction

Postural imbalances caught while there is still time to change them. You get a tailored correction plan built for your body and your working day, before the pattern becomes chronic pain or an injury.

Common reasons people come in

  • A head that sits forward, or “tech neck”
  • Shoulders rolled forward
  • An uneven pelvis
  • A stiff mid-back

Mobility and wellness care

For stiffness, everyday aches and declining mobility at any age. A tailored care plan to suit your case and circumstances, built to keep your spine moving well for the long run.

Common reasons people come in

  • Stiffness through the back or neck
  • Declining mobility and age-related stiffness
  • Ordinary aches from work or parenting
  • Older Australians

Headache and neck pain care

Headaches and neck tension often start in the joints and muscles of the neck. We work out exactly where yours are coming from, treat what we find, and build you a plan for between visits.

Common reasons people come in

  • Tension and neck-related headaches
  • A stiff neck that will not turn
  • Neck and shoulder tightness
  • Headaches that build through the work day

Not sure which one is yours? That is what the first visit is for.

Start with an assessment

The chiropractor you will see.

Dr Laith Musallam is an accredited practising chiropractor with over four years of clinical experience, shaped by six years in rehabilitation and movement-based care. He has treated junior athletes from U12 to U21 and local sporting teams, elderly patients, NDIS participants, veterans, and people working their way back from a workplace injury, an accident, or a condition they have lived with for years.

Nobody here is handed a standard plan. Yours draws on chiropractic care, physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises chosen to suit your case, and it is worked out with you once he knows what he is dealing with. It is built for lasting improvement rather than short-term relief.

The work is finding the posture and structural imbalances behind the pain, so that pain takes up less room in your day and movement comes back.

“Motion is medicine. The body is built to heal itself, and it does that best when its structure is sound.”

Know what’s happening. Treat it precisely.

InsightCLA® scanning helps us understand your body at a deeper level, so your treatment is guided by real insight rather than by guesswork.

  • A patient resting a hand on the NeuroPULSE sensor during a scan.

    NeuroPULSE

Shows how your body handles stress, to improve recovery, resilience and overall function.

  • The NeuroCORE surface EMG unit reading a patient at the C1 level.

    NeuroCORE

Identifies posture and structural imbalances, to reduce pain, improve mobility and help you move with ease.

  • The NeuroTHERMAL unit being run down a patient’s spine.

    NeuroTHERMAL

Highlights areas of nerve stress and inflammation, to calm irritation, relieve discomfort and restore function.

Get yourself booked in

The questions we are asked most.

What actually happens at a first appointment?
It opens with a conversation: when the trouble began, what eases it, what sets it off, and what it is stopping you doing. Then we examine you, testing the nerves, muscles and joints your symptoms point to, and we look over any X-rays or scans you already have. Dr Laith goes through the findings with you and sets out the plan for your case before you leave.
Do I need a referral?
No. You can book in with the clinic directly, without a referral from anyone.
What should I bring?
Any X-rays, scans or reports you already have, because Dr Laith reads them alongside the examination rather than instead of it. Clothes you can move comfortably in help too, since part of the visit is watching how you actually move. Beyond that, come as you are. Nothing else needs organising before your first appointment.
Does an adjustment hurt?
That depends on the technique, and the technique is matched to the person in front of us rather than applied the same way to everyone. Where things are irritable, Dr Laith works with gentle joint mobilisation, which is slow movement with no thrust and no click, plus soft-tissue work. An adjustment is never automatic, and you can decline any part of it without it being awkward.
How many visits will I need?
That is set at your first assessment, once Dr Laith knows what he is dealing with. Some people respond in a handful of visits and others take longer, so your plan is paced to your case and adjusted as your body responds, never read off a calendar. We tell you plainly what your case needs at every stage.
Can I claim through my health fund?
Yes. The clinic accepts all major health funds, Bupa, ahm, HCF, Medibank and Suncorp among them. Claiming runs on the spot through HICAPS, so it goes through at the end of your visit rather than being something you lodge yourself later. Bring your health fund card and we take care of it while you are here.
Will chiropractic care cure my condition?
Chiropractic care sets out to fix the mechanics behind your symptoms: how you move, how you hold yourself, how your spine handles load. The first assessment works out what is driving your problem, and your plan is built and adjusted around exactly that.
